The Behemoth

Dinosaurs and Humans
Did you know that there is significant proof in the bible that dinosaurs and humans lived during the same time period. This contradicts what evolutionists say.

Evolutionists believe that dinosaurs came before humans on the evolutionary train. They believe that dinosaurs lived about 200 to 250 Million years ago while humans came into being about 250,000 years ago. That's a big time difference yet in the bible, they talk about "behemoths", "leviathons" and "dragons." When you read these passages, you may think that these beasts are metaphors or some made up fantastical creature but if you read carefully, you'll see that they are in fact dinosaurs.

"'Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God, yet his maker can approach him with his sword. The hills bring him their produce, and all the wild animals play nearby. Under the lotus plant he lies, hidden among the reeds in the marsh. The lotuses conceal him in their shadow; the poplars by the stream surround him. When the river rages, he is not alarmed; he is secure, though the Jordan should surge against his mouth.'" Job 41:15-23

Think about this description of the behemoth. It eats plants. The NIV Version of the bible says grass but the original hebrew bible says plants. Its' very strong and has a thick, massive tail. It is somewhat peaceful as "all the wild animals play nearby." It drinks up the Jordan river and it is so massive that the Jordan river cannot move it. What can it be? Not an elephant or hippopotamus. Both have puny tails. The only thing I can think of is a brontosaurus or in scientific terms, a diplodocus or an Apatosaurus.

How did this description of a dinosaur end up in the bible? It descibes the dinosaur as if it expects the reader to know what it is. The book of Job was written between 2000 and 1000 BC. That means dinosaurs still roamed the earth about 3000 or 4000 years ago.

I know some people may think this is nuts but what else could this be describing? Just think about it for a moment, if these fossils were really 200 Million years old, we wouldn't find any fossils in good condition. But the fact is, every once in a while, a dinosaur bone would be discovered that is almost perfectly preserved!

Some people may ask why the bible just didn't say dinosaurs. Well, the word dinosaur was coined in 1841 when people realized that some big bones belonged to huge massive creatures from a long time ago.
